Conventions

Avanii attends several conventions every year to promote and sell her artworks. The booth colours of soft yellows, deep reds and natural greens are always present, within a theme of gentle nature vibes: as if you've found a magical place in the woods where wondrous soft friends are waiting to be adopted. You may have spotted us at Nordic Fuzzcon, Dutch Comic Con, Animecon, Dokomi or Eurofurence!

Products

Plush

Avanii specialises in handmade plush animals. Her designs range from small, stylised creatures with embroidered faces, to large (semi) realistic animals with plastic eyes and lifelike imitation furs. There is a focus on foxes, mustelids and opossums in particular, but she also makes wolves, hyenas, rabbits, rats and fantasy animals, among other things. The realistic animals are all one-of-a-kind and so the availability of them at events is always varied. The Pokemon inspired plush are only taken to conventions that permit the sale of fanart, and are not available at, for example, Eurofurence. 

Little Companions

Newly introduced in 2026 are the Little Companions! Small animal plushies that can stand up by themselves, but can also be attached to your bag, lanyard, belt or anything else with a loop. They even fit in some breast pockets and can thus be taken anywhere you go too! Currently most designs feature mustelids (like martens, ferrets and weasels), as well as canids (wolves and foxes), raccoons and red pandas. But more animal species will follow soon. 

Handcrafted merchandise

Next to plushies, Avanii also uses her embroidery machines to create patches and plush keychains. Every one of these is designed by her, so you will not find them anywhere else!

We also sell various items that were not created in-home, but outsourced to reputable manufacturers. These items include enamel pins, acrylic and wooden keychains, washi tapes, vinyl stickers, and most recently: fridge magnets! As always, each of these items was drawn and designed by Avanii.
